Every option buys the same Outstanding desk clip: you on lead vocals, up to four friends on sax, keys or the two backing mics. Tiny Desk Outstanding AI pricing starts at zero: new accounts get 20 credits, exactly one 4-second Lite video, so you see your photo in the close-up before paying. Tiny Desk Outstanding AI is a fan-built tool with no ties to NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, Charlie Wilson or The Gap Band.

Tiny Desk Outstanding AI pricing questions
Not sure yet? Spend the free credits in the Tiny Desk Outstanding AI video generator first.
How is Tiny Desk Outstanding AI pricing worked out?
Everything is priced in credits, and each version has a fixed cost: 20 for Lite, 100 for Standard, 200 for Full. Plans refill your balance monthly or yearly, packs add credits once, and the generator button shows the cost before a render starts.
What does one Standard video cost in dollars?
Between $5.00 and $9.99. Monthly plans put it at $9.99 (Starter), $8.33 (Pro) or $6.00 (Studio). Paying yearly lowers it to $6.00, $5.52 or $5.00 for the same three plans. A Full 19-second video takes 200 credits, so it costs double.
Is there a free option before I pay?
Yes. Every new account receives 20 credits, enough for one Lite render, which puts your face on the singer in the 4-second laughing close-up at 480p. The Tiny Desk ai free guide explains what those credits can and cannot make.
Do I pay extra for each friend I add?
No. The version decides the price, not the head count. A Standard video costs 100 credits whether you swap only the lead vocals or fill sax, keys and both backing vocals too, so bringing the whole group costs nothing more.
Lite, Standard or Full: which one should I buy?
Lite is the cheap test: four seconds of the laughing close-up with only the lead replaced. Standard is the usual pick for posting, ten unbroken seconds running from the band shot past the close-up to the first notes of the sax solo. Full is the entire 19-second viral cut at twice the credits.
Am I charged when a render fails?
No. If a render fails or is stopped by the content filter, its credits go straight back to your balance, so you can retry with a sharper, front-facing photo. Credits are only spent on finished, downloadable videos.
How do renewal and cancellation work?
Plans renew every month or every 12 months until you cancel. A cancellation halts the next charge, and credits already in your balance stay usable until the current period ends. Packs never renew; their credits last 12 months from purchase.
